Cut-off saw training
The course covers all aspects of how to use a cut-off saw safely and includes appropriate personal protective equipment, selecting, and fitting appropriate cutting wheels, operating and refueling the machine through to safe transportation.
The training is a blend of theoretical and practical, hands-on study. The theoretical elements are supplemented by the course video.
Delegate's knowledge is assessed at the beginning of the course through an initial assessment paper and is formally tested at the end of the basic course through a practical observation and a multiple choice examination paper. The course is pass / fail.
The aim of this course is to provide delegates with the correct level of knowledge to operate a petrol driven cut off saw safely.
Employers would be more confident in their employees’ ability to use the equipment in a safe manner.
