May good fortune rain down on Darren

12 October, 2011

lead welding and bossing courseDarren Fortune of Good Fortune Roofing, Cornwall crossed the borders recently to partake in another fully attended LSA approved Lead Welding & Bossing Course and commented:

This course certainly has given me the confidence to take on projects that I may have passed on to others.  I feel it will help me earn more and develop my business and my skills.

During the 5 day course Darren also became a member of the South Wales & South West Roofing Training Group and hopes the benefits of discounted training fees, NVQ assessing, guidance and free advertising will also improve his chances of increased ‘good fortune’.

Other roofers local to the South West also gave positive feedback and praise;

Colin Joyce of RP Smith & Son, Somerset:

A well run class, very informal, learnt a lot with helpful tips from well trained staff, very enjoyable

Mat Allsworth of Span Roofing felt that the new skill he learnt would certainly help him further his roofing career and hopefully his income!

lead dressing, welding courseHugh Pursey said he felt under pressure at times, although he still successfully completed the assessment, and trainer, Alan Lander complimented Hugh on his standard of work.

Carl Burgess felt that the worst part of the training was travelling the 130 miles to Exeter, however he managed to kill two birds with one stone and his family were able to enjoy a few days holiday in glorious Devon.
